Mason Dixon 100k Longest Day Challenge
Apollo Park at Shenks Ferry Rd- Mile 53
Putting on my fuel belt in preperation for the killer 7 miles. Staying hydrated was very important on this run. You had to stay on top of it. During this 7 mile stretch if we had no water and became dehydrated our muscels could be affected and it would be hard to recover. One mistake I made here was not eating before we left on this 7 mile stretch. I should have eaten a PBJ or potatos or something. By the end of this stretch I was very hungry and light headed.
